These coho are caught by Trolling (see images in the photos). Trolling is a fishery in which each fish is caught and handled individually by hook and line, using high tension wires with hooks and lures spaced throughout. The wires are run off of hydraulic gurdy winches that raise and lower them into the water column. Once the fish are onboard, we dress, bleed, and ice each one to produce the highest quality salmon on the market.
